About Me

I am a 7th grade teacher from Arizona. Though I was born and raised in the cold, frozen north of Minnesota (and still appreciate its snowy beauty and sparkling lakes), I adore the  unique beauty of the Arizona desert as well. I completed a Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University, and am nearly finished with a master’s degree in Educational Technology. Due to my love of using technology with students, I am constantly trying new things with my students, who willingly go along with these experiments with me. I have taught for five years and am constantly learning new things.

When I’m not at school, I spend much of my time in the kitchen. A quote that’s on my fridge is “My ideal kitchen has chocolate fingerprints on the fridge door and flour on the floor.” I also love being in the outdoors through things like walking, hiking, or swimming. I have one husband and two dogs and love them all! :-) My dog Nimbus

Hi, I am a student at the University of South Alabama located in Mobile, Alabama. I am in Dr. Strange’s EDM 310 class and majoring in Elementary Education.

I shoot hoops! I have two boys to play with. Mom can still take ‘em but not for long. Entertaining blog – keep blogging.

I am very happy to see that you like the outdoors and other hobbies including being in hte kitchen. Some teachers that teach computer classes are giving off the vibe they are couch/computer potatoes. I feel like we really need to keep the excercise in our student’s lives as well as the education.
