Maryvale: A Student Perspective
When I think about the neighborhood that is called MARYVALE I imagine it as a place were every Mexican comes to live in after they cross the border. Perhaps Phoenix is all about Mexicans. There is no neighborhood here in Phoenix were you don’t see a Mexican drifting on the streets an putting Mexican music every Friday and Saturday getting drunk tell the sun comes out.
Likes:
What I like about Maryvale is that it’s not quiet like in Buckeye or any other place were it’s all quiet. You literally go outside and you don’t here anything. Its like if everyone is dead or something like that. You don’t hear any cars or the freeway or anything else that the neighborhood Maryvale has to offer.
Dislikes:
What I don’t like about this neighborhood is all of the killing and all the car accidents. If you haven’t notice there’s always a car accident in the light pole in 55th an Thomas.
Overall opinion:
Marvale is a really good place to grow up in. The park is so close by for teenagers to kick back. There’s always basketball games in the basketball court for anyone who wants to play in so they can have fun an be kids.

I agree that there are a lot of accidents.why are you being stereotype with mexicans.I think maryvale is a bad nieghborhood.

I agree Maryvale is not quiet, but at least is’s not hella’ boring.
& Why are you stereotyping against mexicans ? What are you joe arpaio’s son?
& It’s not just mexicans who live here, it is all other kinds of people too . xD

i say that not only mexicans drink because americans drink beer too.
there is also not drifting because we are not in tokyo .
and people shoot only on there favorite holidays.

I think this is a ok article…besides the fact that it talks about mexicans in such a rude way…. I also think there are more than just mexicans in Maryvale… and do you honesty think Maryvale is the one of the best cities in Phoenix?

I agree that maryvale is a really fun play to live at, it’s not like other places where is boring and quiet like Buckeye. i really like the fact that Maryvale is really fun and you have alot of friends you can hang out with. Why did you decided to do this topic?
and not all mexican’s get drunk and party!
